Alright, normally, I would leave a link, hoping you will click and satisfy my ego.

But today's comic is special, and worthy of you seeing without clicking on the link.

I started this drawing with the intention of making a little note about going on a hiatus. You know, to inform the five people that read my web comic. And dammit, if I'm not pleased with this drawing.

Sure, you've seen better. I've seen better. You know how long it took me to draw the above picture? 18 seconds.

Eighteen seconds.

Oh, wait, eighteen seconds on a computer tablet even. (For those who don't know, me drawing on a computer tablet is like pushing a deer out onto an iced over pond. Not pretty.)

I'm going to just say it, fuck me, Freddy. A year ago, when I first thought about starting a web comic, I would not think I would be able to draw a sphere, let alone this, this in under an hour.

This picture is what my doodles on paper look like now.

I don't know if this gives me hope, or is just feeding my ego enough for me to forget and move on or what.

But my drawing skills are improving. And if I applied more effort, they would improve more quickly.

So maybe it is hope. Hope that one day, I will have mad drawing skills. Hope that one day I will finish writing and drawing my opus, aka Frank & Hilde.

And that's not a bad feeling.
