One of the perks of staying in a con hotel this year. Dragon*Con TV. Yes, I am laying on a bed of dice. No, it was pretty comfortable.

The owner of Chessex tells Jonathan the tale of how battle mats were invented. He should know, since he and his business partner invented them. He was a little confused as to why we were star struck.

He was even more confused when we asked him to sign our battle mats. But he humoured us anyway.

Trace, Frank, and Joel. (Originally from MST3K. Now with Cinematic Titanic.) I was the first in line and got front row center seats. They answered questions then showed us The Cinematic Titanic presentation of "The Wasp Woman". Afterwards they signed autographs and sold Cinematic Titanic dvds. Frank is a little creepy in person. I want Trace to seduce me and Joel to adopt me.

Dean Haglund, aka "Langley" from "The X-Files". He told hilarious stories about working on "The X-Files" and "The Lone Gunmen". He is geekier than his character on the shows. He invents computer products and draws underground comics as well as voices anime characters when he isn't doing improv around the world.

His autographed photo completes my Lone Gunmen collection. I chose the 5th grade class picture shot of him to adore my Super Happy Fun Room wall.

I was once again touched by the same FSM who touched me last year. I think this will become a yearly tradition. Side note, it's hard to see in this picture but, my overhead braid wrap was popular with con goers.

Stay tuned for Part Two: even more pictures and obscure references.
