Three Things

square_root_of_pi1.) Just in time for the first night of Chanukah/Hannukah/That Jewish holiday where we celebrate not getting killed by eating tasty fried foods, an awesome present from my friend Brina.
Jonathan and I got into a debate over what it could be.
Me: (holding unopened post) Oh! It's from Sabrina! She's making gifts this year.
::opens post, pulls out odd pizza slice shaped parcel::
Jonathan: It's a slice of pizza?
Me: There's a note. ::reads note about Hannukah/Chanukah/More latkes please holiday present::
Jonathan: Ah, so it's Hannukah pizza.

It's really hard to find decent decorations for this holiday with the name no one can spell correctly. This is great, Brina, thank you.
2.)I have so many gifts left to make. Check out my poor office couch. Yeah, all of that mess will be turned into fantastically brilliant gifts I suppose. Ugh.
3.) Had a case of major gift fail last night. On the first night of Chanukah/Hannukah/That Jewish holiday that last for 8 nights, I gave my husband an old menorah. I thought it looked cool, all shaped like a steel tree and what not.
And what does that bastard give me?
(The Time Lord trapped in the nook is courtesy of gautelen who moments after I posted the news on facebook, suggested the perfect screensaver, brilliant woman that she is. It cycles through each of the 11 Doctors, and just happened to queue up the 11th this time around.)
Yeah, I got outgifted. He swears he loves the menorah,and I am certain he does, especially since we were lacking in the menorah area, but I still feel a bit sheepish. "Here, have some dead person's menorah, go stare at the one burning candle, while I play with my new electronic device."
Oh well, I still have seven more nights of gifts to properly wow him.
