Hand caught in the candy jar

Jonathan got his hand stuck in the candy jar. Instead of helping him, I mocked him and took pictures for later viewing pleasure.




Technically, it's not a candy jar, but "Hand caught in Sun Tea jar." doesn't have the same oomph.

Bitch, did I stutter?

Borders Book Seller: Can I help you?

Me: I would like to reserve a copy of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.

BBS: What is your name?

Me: Christin. That is spelled C-H-R-I-S-T-I-N.

BBS: Are you sure there is no E?

Me: No e, that would make my name Christine. My name is Christin.

BBS: Oh.

(Relaying the tale to Jonathan later.)

Me: I felt so rude. "No e, that would make my name Christine. My name is Christin."

Jonathan: That isn't rude. A rude but not uncalled for response would have been: "Bitch, did I stutter?".

So now I have a copy reserved at Borders. I'm finally going to make my Hogwarts' school robe and go as a Slytherin House student. Yeah, I'm 27 and still cosplay, what is it to you?

It's a shame my hair is so long now. I could crosplay and go as Harry again.

The Borders Book Seller gave me three stickers, two for supporting Snape and one , as pictured above with the hilarious tag line "Snape is a very bad man.".
