Three Things
Sep. 15th, 2010 12:26 pm* ::knock knock::
Me: Who is it?
ConCrud: Hey, it's con crud. Sorry I'm late.
Me: Dammit!
I have con crud. Dammit.
For those not familiar with con crud, it is this mysterious stew pot of illness, one tends to come down with after attending a convention. I have noticed those that drink copious amounts of alcohol during the convention never come down with it. It could just be a coincidence, but I think the con crud hits everyone, but is so overwhelmed by the amount of alcohol in the person's system to do any damage. So the germs wander off.
I have no appetite. Yom Kippur starts in three evenings, so I guess I have a jump start on the fasting portion of the holiday.
* I finally discovered the Flight series of graphic anthologies. They are fantastic, and bring together an wonderful assortment of artists to tell their stories about the topic of flight. Currently reading Flight Volume 2, courtesy of my friendly neighbourhood branch of the public library.

* Someday, I will attend SPX. It would be rather awesome to attend as an exhibitor, but I think I would be equally as happy just to be there as an attendee or a volunteer.
