This is my current death date based on the fact I am 112 lbs overweight, don't exercise enough and only have a bachelor's degree (The G.E.D. of the 21st Century!).

DEAD AT 86

old age

If I weighed my ideal weight (130 lbs), exercised more frequently and had a Ph.D, this would be my death date.

DEAD AT 88

old age

Yeah. Either way, I end up an old white dude with a hot nurse.

I am totally avoiding wedding chores right now. One, it's about 50 degrees inside the apartment. It's so cold it actually hurts to wear my engagement ring. Two, I really have no second reason.

Dear Santa...

Dear Santa,

This year I've been busy!

In June I ruled Duluth, Minnesota as a cruel and heartless dictator (-700 points). Last Sunday I farted in an elevator (-6 points). In August I put money in [livejournal.com profile] neiloney's expired parking meter (14 points). Last Wednesday I committed genocide... Sorry about that, [livejournal.com profile] quantum_zen (-5000 points). Last Thursday I saved a busload of nuns in Angola (326 points).

Overall, I've been naughty (-5366 points). For Christmas I deserve a lump of coal!

Sincerely,
christin

I think my points dropped severely when I revealed that I have no gun experience and only enough non perishable food in the house to last a month or two.

Still, Uncle Georgie (Mr. Romero) has taught me much. Thank you, sensei.

-----------------------------------

Today:

1. I am walking to the cheapie theatre and either watching Becoming Jane or Stardust.

2. I am going to Tom Brown Park and playing a little disc golf.

3. And later, I am going back to the Greek Festival and gorging on more yummy food.

----------------------------------

For Now:

Jonathan is off getting his hair did at the one barber shop in town that knows how to cut Black hair.

-------------------------------

Earlier:

This morning started with Jonathan and I each taking the zombie survival quiz and engaging on a serious talk about the pros and cons of Walmart vs. a fortified building, how quickly we are willing to shoot each other in the head, and his desire to have a month long pack always on hand in the case on some emergency, be it zombie or what not.

My life, people, my life. I know y'all are jealous.

You Communicate Like a Man

When you communicate, you like to get to the point.
You're not afraid to say what's on your mind - and leave it at that.
Talking about your emotions drains you. You rather keep them to yourself.
You prefer solving problems to wallowing in your sorrows.

You scored as Islam. Your beliefs are most similar to those of Islam. Do more research on Islam and possibly consider taking the shahadah and officially becoming a Muslim, if you aren't already.

Despite the actions of some - who go against the teachings of Islam - Islam is a religion of peace; the word "islam" means "peace through submission to God." "Muslim" means "one who submits to God." Islam is the third of the three Abrahamic faiths, and it shares much with Judaism in Christianity; its differences are the acceptance of Muhammad as the last and final prophet, and the oneness of God - in other words, that Jesus, though he was a revered prophet, was not in fact God, and only one God exists. Apparently the Taliban could not read (though their name means "students"), because the Qur'an states that men and women are equal as believers, and that all believers should be educated and seek knowledge. Modesty in dress and behavior is required in Islam for both men and women to preserve the values of society and move the emphasis from superificial appearance to intelligence, knowledge, and God.
